Points are mentioned below : Sati (Durga is the rebirth of Sati, Sati has many forms, one of them is Durga) is the wife of Lord Shiva. Daksha(was king of his own province,yes on earth) is the father of Sati (after rebirth she called Durga).After Sati died, Lord Shiva got mad and took the dead body of Sati into his shoulder and just got crazy.... *

jackwilson (True Core Lover): We believe that those part have fallen on earth, around Indian Continent(India,Pakistan,Afghanisthan etc),mostly in India.Also he advised Lord Shiva nt to get crazy coz Sati already got rebirth namely Durga(previously,Sati).Actualy Mahishasur was the devil of evils.yes.Most of Hindu Gods are woman(out of 33 crores Hindu Gods). And last my arguement is Durga has 18 hands (as per different types of Hindu Holly Books).But usually we worship her with 10 hands. Thats all.. *
