jimmy (Vinyl Shaker): They took people who listened to intense metal, like death metal and speed metal and they took people who listen to normal stuff and tested them to see who could understand and percieve music better and the metalheads could hear the music better and could pick up more of whats going on,as in with all the different instruments!!

jimmy (Vinyl Shaker): Its evolution!!!Forward progress and obviously like with all progress there will always be people who stand against progress! If ya dont like certain music its very simple!Just dont listen to it!My musical influences are varied!Jazz, blues, folk, rock, emo, new metal, industrial, ebm, goth, death metal, thrash, classical!I dont limit myself but i do stand up for certain generes because people always want to discredit them!Like Death metal!

jimmy (Vinyl Shaker): I grew up listening to the music my elder brothers listened to!Iron maiden,Sabbath,Led zeplin,Judus priest,Thin lizzy, etc!I was a teenager when Death metal started, bands like Obituary,Slayer,Morbid angel,Deicide,Carcass,Napalm deathCannibal corpse,Death, etc! In South Africa you couldnt buy death metal freely,it was banned!!So we used to order our cds and buy on the black market here.We had to fight just because of what music we listened to!And we did fight, thats what its about!
